5.0 star star star star starAs a nurse, I generally am a terrible patient. Dr. Otteman makes me feel heard and understood. I feel safe in her care and can trust her judgement. Would 100% recommend her to any who need pulmonary care.

5.0 star star star star starShe has the ability to listen and care, while also what she sees during my previous exams, combining them with her thoughts and putting together an opinion of what I am dealing with. Many Dr’s. Just express their opinion on only their particular exam, while I appreciate that, I am a total patient, not to be assigned one specific opinion for what is happening to me. It was actually just a breath of fresh air, Dr. Otteman got it! Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Otteman is a very caring and concerned person. Her questions concerning my health lead to prescribing the medications I need. She is always on time and does not rush my visit with her.and is a great asset to the Northwestern Medicine.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Otteman was professional, compassionate, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, thorough in her examination, and clearly explained her health assessment, testing, and treatment. Dr. Otteman was highly recommended to me, and I have already recommended her to several people. I would also like to mention Nathan, who performed the breathing tests. He was extremely professional and caring, and he explained each test in a clear and patient manner, which put me at ease during a time when I was very concerned about my asthma and the overall health of my lungs.

5.0 star star star star starDr. C. Otteman is very professional, kind and caring. Knowledgeable and patient !! She listens. She really goes the extra mile to make sure her patients are given quality care. She does go above and beyond and I’m thrilled to have her as my pulmonologist.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
