Dr Milad’s beside manner is superb. I sought multiple opinions before settling upon him as my surgeon. He is thorough, detailed, patient and kind. You never feel rushed. He answers any questions and clarifies any concerns you may have; allowing you leave his office feeling empowered and educated regarding decisions/options concerning your health. I am no longer anxious or fearful, but excited to undergo my procedure and get to a sense of normalcy.

Not only is he skilled at what he does, but even as a man of few words his compassion and care shine through. I am what some consider a problem patient as I get very anxious and want to know everything that’s going on. I ask lots of questions. Not only did the doctor handle it all with grace, his entire team was pleasant, communicative and swift. I’ve not had a better healthcare experience until now. I would trust a loved one with him and myself with him. He and his team helped me to overcome my medical fears and I am healthier and braver for it.

I feel so lucky to see Dr. Milad. He is the third doctor I have been to, but the first who actually took the time to explain things and show me my images. The surgeon, Dr. Milad, completed the surgery w/o any issue, and I've had no pain afterwards, even after the pain medication wore off. The surgeon took the time to call my mom (my point of contact) to update her after the surgery was successful, which we both appreciated! Very caring surgeon, nurses & staff at the hospital. They provided thorough info. re: the surgery both in writing & verbally. I would recommend others needing this type of surgery to have it done at Northwestern Medicine Surgery. Thank you!
