He was not personable at all and seemed annoyed that he had to see me. As soon as I walked into the room, the first thing he said was "what concerns do you have?" At which point I felt like maybe I had missed something and should have concerns when I really didn't. I'm not sure if it was a scare tactic or he wanted me to be more concerned but when I asked about the possibly of delivering early due to GD and baby measurement it seemed he made a point to mention late term fetal death at least 4-5 times. However when he very quickly ran through the baby's measurements he said she was right on track and normal. When I asked him about my insulin dose and explained everything I was doing to try and get my morning numbers down with diet he again seemed annoyed. I definitely did not feel supported by him not did he ease any of my worries. I will be calling to make sure my follow up at 36wks is with another provider if possible.

Dr Hussey is a great patient advocate. He takes his time and is very even keeled which is appreciated in high risk situations. Can’t say enough how grateful I am to be working with him during my pregnancy.

Dr. Hussey is always very patient answering all our questions and addressing our concerns. He's very objective and very science and data driven when explaining things to us. He also takes time to be very thorough and he makes sure we are satisfied with his answers before moving on. Very respectful and professional. We always walk away feeling very reassured and very confident of his medical advice and insights.
