During my visit today, I told him about my health issues and he really explained things to me and showed me from online pictures what he was explaining to me, so that I could visually see what he was talking about. I really appreciated that. Then he talked about next steps to try to address my health issues. [ ]

5.0 star star star star starSo thorough, explains things to me and tells me what is going on. I do not feel like he is rushing me when I am in with him. He makes the drive from South Bend, Indiana for an appointment with him worth it. He staff including Nurse Allison is also really excellent.

5.0 star star star star starI am humbled by and feel honored and privileged to have this opportunity to provide feedback on a world-class physician, such as Dr. William Catalona, as his exemplary service to the world through decades of pioneering research and life-saving interventions on prostate cancer, speaks clearly for itself. Dr. Catalona is a gifted urologist who combines exceptional medical expertise and innovative knowledge of his field, with compassion, empathy, sensitivity to the patient’s best interests from a holistic, all-encompassing perspective, and the deepest level of dedication to the best interests of his patients and their families. It is obvious that Dr. Catalona has saved countless lives worldwide as the developer of the PSA screening procedure, and as the leading expert on “nerve sparing†radical prostatectomy. Yet, despite his remarkable academic and professional accomplishments, he is the epitome of kindness, and he is humble, unassuming, and highly approachable. These qualities are rare to find in a physician of this historical times. As a mental health professional, I know the importance of understanding and integrating the psychological and spiritual dimensions in a person’s treatment process. Dr. Catalona is furthermore generous with his time and provides in-depth and comprehensive answers to questions posed during conferences. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Catalona for saving my family member’s life and he has done so without the need for surgery, which given my family member’s other health conditions, could have had a disruptive effect on his systemic wellbeing. Dr. Catalona recommended hormone therapy, and this is working in a highly effective manner, thus preserving my family member’s quality of life. I do not have sufficient words to express my gratitude to Dr. Catalona.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Catalona is a superb physician. He explains everything in great details and in a way that my family and I may easily understand. I have been under Dr. Catalona’s care for about eight years and I cannot imagine having anyone else as my urologist. He’s simply the BEST.
