I like her as a person, and her bedside manner is good. She probably has to deal with a lot of people that tend to be in a foul mood so I appreciate what she does. But I have a serious neuro-psychiatric disorder and she has failed to recognize the adequate kind of feedback required for me to be able to guide my own treatment in a meaningful way. Specifically, she fails to engage in a two sided conversation where my differential and experience are voiced, and she responds with what she is thinking might be causing the problem, and what steps can be taken to rule things out. In short, I feel like I get asked a lot of questions, I give the best answers I can, but then I get called out on discrepancies. I can be a tough nut to crack, so I donâ€™t fully blame her - but I patently donâ€™t think she does well with psych patients. Normal people may respond to being infantilized, mostly those who are in chronic pain, because theyâ€™ve probably already infantilized themselves. But it doesnâ€™t work on nut jobs.
