5.0 star star star star starIt’s hard to rate a surgeon because I have no way of knowing how good a job he did. But I’m healing and he got the biopsy specimen we needed. I will say the incision was larger than I expected with much more swelling and bruising. I’ll see him next week and will have a better idea .

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor was very thorough in explaining my condition. He used a step-by-step approach to go over information that had been gathered by various medical professionals over time. He took the time to discuss options for treatment, and was very reassuring. He was able to recommend a doctor for me who could provide additional care, as well.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very kind and took the time to explain everything, offered the treatment option and explained how it aligns with the appropriate melanoma guidelines, ensured I understood what I was told, and provided details on how I can contact the office if I had additional questions.

5.0 star star star star starI recommend Dr. Jeff Wayne every chance I have. Dr. Wayne presents clear and understandable information beyond the usual. He also has a sincere and pleasant manner of delivering his information to me and my family - what they and I (and probably all patients) need and deserve.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
