5.0 star star star star starKellyn is the BEST!! She’s been my primary physician for 23 years and always so thorough, good listener, takes her time and has great bedside manner. I never feel rushed and appreciate she is always timely I’ve never had to wait long in either the reception area or exam room.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderFirst she entered the room stating the she is not taking in New patients. I explained to her that wasn't there requesting to be her patients. I explained to her that I was not able schedule an appointment with my doctor at the time. My ankle and foot was in pain. She told me I had to scheduled a follow-up with my Doctor. I thought that was very unprofessional being that she is a Doctor. I left with nothing on how to soothe the issue. Follow-up when she did nothing. I will follow-up in regards that this visit won't be charged to my Insurance.

4.0 star star star star star_borderAs mentioned, Dr Marks is excellent. Her support staff does not offer her consistent support. In fact, one person in the telephone answering pool stated that she'd discussed Dr Marks asking for a Covid test with the person's supervisor and was told that the supervisor didn't think it was necessary!!

5.0 star star star star starI've been seeing Dr. Marks now for awhile and think she is very knowledgeable and professional. She also takes the time to get to know her patients and is friendly and conversant so it makes it easy to talk to her. She will also make recommendations or suggestions for things that she believes can be improved. I always take them into consideration.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Marks personally saved my sister-in-law's life. She completed a mammogram at Prentice with a clean reading. Less than a month later, Dr. Marks did an annual exam and found a lump that turned out to be, I believe, stage 4 breast cancer. Dr. Marks consistently follows procedures and meets all the standards of care to get to the bottom. She takes time to be human with her care.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderExtreme difficulty in getting her to review an EKG from another department that she expressed concern about and wanted to review. Also, historically, when too many calls go in to Internal Medicine, the calls are answered by a call center and that rarely goes well. Gives new meaning to indifference and lack of training.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Marks has been my PCP for 15+ years and is excellent. She is extremely thorough and has been very responsive when I need to ask questions, etc. What I appreciate most is how she coordinates my care as a whole in NWMH. She has a great bedside manner and explains conditions clearly and honestly. She keeps my on track with all scheduled tests and treatments.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
