5.0 star star star star starDr. Stein takes the time to get to know you. He is kind and compassionate. He is easy to talk to and explains everything he’s doing throughly. Furthermore, he sends test results with his comments to you in a timely matter. Usually on the day the tests are done. I can’t say enough good things about him.

5.0 star star star star starI didn’t feel rushed like with some doctors. Also, he seemed to really try to understand what was going with my health and he explained my condition to me which is something no one has done before.

5.0 star star star star starDr Stein has always involved me in my treatment plan. Rather than saying, “This is what we’re going to do,†he presents me with options, explains the pros and cons to all, and then asks what I prefer.

5.0 star star star star starBest Dr I have ever met! His energy is so comforting! I feel safe in his care because not only is he knowledgeable I feel like he really cares. I have seen 3 different hematologist in your in your group but none of them made me feel as cared for as Dr Stein. I left every other Hematologist because I didn’t feel safe to speak my mind with them. I left because I never felt they really cared about me. I had different experience with Dr Stein. He has a gift! I drive from the far west suburbs to see him because he explains everything & that makes me feel so safe & cared for.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
