4.0 star star star star star_borderShe was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable but gave me no real direction as to what to do next. Yes, she told me what she thought it was, gave me some medication for my pain and sent me back to my internist. But nothing definitive about how to reduce my pain. Not her fault I suppose but I was disappointed.

5.0 star star star star starAs I said before, professional but friendly. My regular Rheumatologist is on a leave and so Dr. Siddiqui is taking over some of her patients. I have seen her 1 other time when Dr. [ ] was on another leave. I am not sure if Dr. [ ] will be back but Dr. Siddiqui said to make my next appointment with her.

5.0 star star star star starShe was awesome. She explained everything she was doing, what she was looking for, what concerned her and what she was thinking. She took time to talk with me about what a lot of the unfamiliar terms meant and made sure I came away understanding how the different parts of my body work and how the problems I am having might be caused.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderBecause she’s always in a hurry skips over things like she doesn’t want to listen I’m really not happy with her. I’m probably going to change Doctors, I’m in such a pain in my knees she didn’t even say let me check and see them and I was skeptical because I didn’t know who was going to do it giving the shots I mean so she said she’d make appointment in August not even waiting for me to say that I’ll do it now. I left there crying because I was in a lot of pain. She was in a rush to see the next patient.

5.0 star star star star starThis visit was transfer of care. I was happy with Dr. Siddiqui , however my disease state at some point may include joint swelling, but I do have active dry eyes and dry mouth. It would have been nice if the doctor on the transfer of care visit, would have noted a base line of any swelling in other joints or dryness to compare to future visits. As a lay person, I may not be aware of what condition my joints and skin should be in.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI’m a newer patient. I understand there’s great demand for rheumatology. It took months to get an initial appointment. Once I did, I found Dr. Siddiqui to be detached and not as interested in providing coordinated and holistic care. Treatment of autoimmune conditions isn’t just about taking medications. Diet, exercise, mental and emotional health are just as important. Dr. Siddiqui focuses on medications as she does not inquire about the rest of my health and life experience as it may contribute to my disease management. This is my first time working with a rheumatologist who is so one-dimensional and it’s a time suck. I honestly don’t care to see her anymore and will stick with my old rheumatologist that’s out of state. Thank goodness I have PPO.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Siddiqui and the entire staff are very friendly, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Siddiqui always takes time to address my issues, explains thing completely, and discusses options in depth for future care options. I always leave the office feeling like me and my health are important and I'm not just a patient getting pushed through the door. If I have additional questions the patient portal is excellent as well

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
