2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI was there for changes in memory, seizures, frequent headaches and sensitivity to light. All new symptoms except seizures. He compared my symptoms to old results from 2019, told me to see an eye Dr .what was more embarrassing and unacceptable was he wrote in his after summary notes that I DID NOT APPRECIATE ANY ABNORMALITIES IN MY EXAM. That was degrading. Especially being embarrassed for what I’m experiencing AND an employee in the same building!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Morker was very pleasant. He listened to my concerns, asked questions and try to get to the bottom of what I was feeling. He was not in a rush at all. He offered several solutions 1) including medication, and 2) natural ways. I felt my concern was his concern.

5.0 star star star star starHe LISTENED to me. I had put my thoughts and questions on an index card. He LISTENED while I went through the card. I ran out of things to say! He answered all of my questions. And he didn't seem rushed. Fabulous doctor!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Morker is one of the BEST Doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing…and I’ve seen SEVERAL. He’s overly thorough. He’s very attentive. He gets to the bottom of things. And I’m so grateful that I’m able to be one of his patients. He is the face of Northwestern, in my opinion!

5.0 star star star star starMy first visit with Dr. M. U. Morker as a new patient couldn’t have been better. He is extremely kind and professional. He talked with me and not at me. He did not rush the appointment. He asked me if I needed any clarification on anything that was talked about. He included me in the care plan/treatment discussion. He made sure that before I left my questions were answered. It was an excellent experience.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI have been there twice now and scheduled for a 3rd, but will be actively looking for another neurologist for a 2nd opinion. I feel like he is not really trying to help me at all and as if he doesn't think anything can be done. I will follow his direction until I can see another, but I do not feel like he is invested in my care at all.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
