Hard to rate this doctor because I only saw him for 5 minutes before they put me out, & he had left before I came to in recovery. Never had any further contact from his office until I pursued calling them regarding some further questions I had, & then a nurse called me back. It appears that all GI doctors in this area, at this time, are all extremely busy & I only got a future appt. with one because she was coming back early from maternity leave.

I think he is an excellent, knowledgeable doctor â€” friendly, makes eye contact, listens to and answers questions. Just one minor complaint â€” and I think this is just a sign of the times with large "corporate" healthcare systems... and I find this with most doctors today â€” I often feel they are over-scheduled and have limited time to spend with you. Sometimes feel like they're listening to you, but already thinking abut their next patient.

The Dr. seems very focused on the medical problem of the patient. However, I felt rushed during my visit. The dr. needs to slow down. He should speak more slowly. He does not seem to a have "friendly " relationship between dr. and the patient. He could b e a better listener.

I was extremely impressed with Dr Khanâ€™s initial approach to establish a doctor patient relationship. He took the time to review my medical history and asked pertinent questions to fully understand my case in order to advocate for what was the best treatment plan for me. His communication helped me understand that he advocates for what he feels is best for the patient. I realize he is extremely busy but he never made me feel rushed. My experience with Dr Khan was excellent, he is a professional who cares about his patients.
