She explains things in a way that I understands and always goes through my treatment plan with me in a way that makes me feel like I'm part of the process of getting better. She's always gone above and beyond answering my messages and calling me back when I've needed her. She's truly been the best doctor I've ever had and I'm so grateful to be under her care.

She rearranged her schedule, consulted with colleagues to make sure no stone was unturned. Very kind, compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere.

These are all qualities that I expect in a medical doctor. You can definitely tell that Dr. Simon loves what she does, and her care towards patients reflects that. I just cannot say enough good about her!

Her examination & that of her staff was very thorough. She confirmed the bad news but expanded on the good. Her knowledge is impressive. Dr. Simon's knowledge is impressive, with a personal style which I valued highly. I was also further referred to another opthalmalogist at NWMD, Dr. [] (sp?)

My friend loved the Dr. that Dr. Simon recommended. My friend is so impressed that Dr. Simon listened and helped her find the perfect fit. She keeps telling me how lucky I am to have Dr. Simon as my Dr. And she keeps saying how lucky she is that Dr. Simon found her the perfect specialist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shira Simon has made a profound impact on our lives and it is highly important to us to let you know this. Both my daughter and father are under her care relative to rare diseases, and the level of care received is so far and beyond that it is hard to put into words. How blessed and fortunate are we and all whom are under her care. She is highly skilled in her field. She is detailed and thorough and makes sure no stone is left unturned. She also gets other specialties involved as needed and follows closely to make sure the patient is receiving the utmost and proper care in every way for what is the best for each individual. She is an incredible person who cares deeply for her patients as if they were her own family. She is always thinking of others and what is best for them and treats all with a sense of urgency. She also contacts you directly to make sure you are okay and help relieve your mind on test results and to answer any questions. Her passion for her field is unsurpassed, and we so thankful she is sharing her gifts; she truly is a light for so many. Also, each and every person we have met who works for her also can't say enough about her and the person that she is. She has touched our lives immensely and we are forever grateful.
