I would give Dr. Lyon my highest recommendation. As evidenced by her track record and other patient experiences, and now by my own experiences, she is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and capable. Despite having an extraordinarily busy schedule, she has also not hesitated to answer questions or to explain findings. Eyesight is precious and she is exceptionally trustworthy to be a specialist in this area.

I go to Dr Lyon because of her great expertise and reputation. However, her appointments needlessly stretch into hours. (One time it was 5 hours, 3 hours is speedy.). The procedure itself lasts only 30 minutes or so.

As stated above: Dr. Lyon is exceptional and very kind, but it seems that no consideration is given to her appointment capacity. Waits during appointments are routinely long (e.g., nearly one hour in chair prior to seeing her).
