4.0 star star star star star_borderHe’s a specialist in care, however, I didn’t think that he fully understood my unique problem so I hope to get better. However, I don't believe that new eyewear is the solution. Although he didn't mention it maybe there isn't a remedy for my problem!

5.0 star star star star starI believe I received very good clinical evaluation and immediate treatment for my problem. Dr Lissner is obviously knowledgable and experienced. The office was well organized with very little wait and a nice medical assistant explained the doctor's process well while taking my history.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough and efficient. He has a good patient manner. He asked questions and listened to my answers. He explained the follow up treatment and had his assistant schedule the visits with me before I left his exam room.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lissner was very thorough in explaining what to expect from the procedure both before and during the actual procedure. He shows concern the patient is at a good comfort level and explains step by step how to cleanse the area in the following weeks.

5.0 star star star star starThe thoroughness of the exam is astonishing! Dr. Lissner digs deep into the patient's medical history, lifestyle, etc. to make sure he knows what direction to turn to provide the right treatment options for the patient.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very thorough in his exam. He was concerned because my condition kept recurring even after appropriate treatment from another ophthalmologist. He contacted the other provider & will create a plan of treatment once he has details from the previous doctor. He was also very personable.

5.0 star star star star starThere is never a better interaction with a physician than when, you leave feeling that they listened, were thorough and thoughtful with their review, and shared a plan that you understand and felt in ultimate control of your decision. Perhaps altruism still exits in healers of today. It certainly did with Dr Lissner and it is reassuring that he is involved in teaching the next generation of physicians.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lissner was very thoughtful and thorough in describing what needed to be done and why. Fortunately, the surgery itself wasn't as serious as it might have been, and the recovery so far has gone well.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
