5.0 star star star star starDr. Downing is great! She’s very professional and personable. Thorough doctor and explains everything really well. I like how she shares tid bits about her kids and what she has done to help their development.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDowning provided the necessary feedback for my appointment/visit at this clinic. I would have liked to discuss tips and what to observe in my infant's one month marker of life. Instead, I felt the vaccination schedule was emphasized more than anything. I decided to choose another practice that will best suit my child and I needs.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Downing is great! She listens and knew exactly which tests we needed for our son. We needed certain tests for daycare and she already had them ready before we told her. She prescribed antibiotics for him and he felt better in one day. I’m so thankful she was able to see us.

5.0 star star star star starShe took the time to listen and understand the history of the issues we have been trying to solve. She asked great questions and was able to provide explanations to me as the parent but also to my 15 year old in a way she felt heard and understood

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderConstantly interrupted my questions and concerns. She would ask me a question and then proceed to speak over me, asking another question before I could completely respond to the first question. Provider seems to always be in a rush.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI feel like she’s rushed when she seen my baby. And when I asked if I could get a call with my baby’s test results she kept pushing the app for results although I explained that my app does not work for me.

5.0 star star star star starWe met Dr. Downing at the hospital during our stay. She was so friendly and gentle with our little one. We decided to schedule our first well-check visit with her and she was such a delight. She was quick and efficient and knew how to deal with our little one when he would get fuzzy. She was generous and kind enough to give us formula samples since we were having a hard time with the formula shortage in our area.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
