Dr Varva was open, attentive, patient, knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful & efficient . She was prepared, and had read all of the results, but still took the time to see if I had additional information I wanted to add, which I did.. And she took the time to answer all of my questions, and made me feel that it was reasonable to ask.

Dr Vavra is simply the best! Her bedside manner is wonderful! I canâ€™t stress enough how kind and compassionate she with all her patients!!! Iâ€™ve experienced it first hand!!! She truly cares about her patients and she will do anything she can to help ease your pain or help you with your situation! She doesnâ€™t give up on you! The last vascular surgeon I had at another location, I never saw him after my first appointment, he always sent someone else. Dr Vavra personally sees me each and every-time I go to her office!!! She truly cares and it shows!!! I am truly so so lucky to have her as my Vascular doctor!!!

Dr Vavra is so professional and very thorough and most importantly very compassionate with my situation. She answered each question or worry I had! She scheduled me into her very busy schedule to just calm my worries, I am beyond grateful that I met Dr Vavra! I know she saved my life by taking a chance on conducting the procedure on my leg! No one else wanted to take a chance but she did and I canâ€™t thank her enough!!!

Dr Vavra was the only doctor who treated me so kindly and took a chance to do this procedure when each and every other doctor was not able to do anything. Dr Vavra took a chance and was successful!!! I donâ€™t know how to even thank her and her office members!!!! They are beyond terrific - they are phenomenal!!!!

The vascular surgery department has an exceptional team also. From the intake personnel who checked me in whoâ€™s name is Kaiesha and the nurse Eva to Dr. Varva. theyâ€™re warm sensitivity and professionalism thoroughness were inspirational. Northwestern medicine cardiology is fortunate to have such a staff especially Dr. Varva!
