5.0 star star star star starFirst of all, Dr. Simon is very approachable. He's easy to talk to and is a good listener. In my first visit he explained everything that would be involved in my surgery. After surgery when I requested a hospital stay to receive nursing care he didn't hesitate to arrange it. He and his staff took good care of me after surgery removing stitches, etc.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Simon has always been extremely thorough in all my time seeing him as a patient. You can tell he really takes his time explaining everything in great detail. On the day of my surgery with him he did the same and really eased my nerves prior to the procedure. I’m less than two weeks post op and am already super happy with the results of my surgery.

5.0 star star star star starThe day I met him he explained exactly what he expected to do to reconstruct my nose after Mohs surgery by my dermatologist. I knew going in what would likely happen. I won't say it was the most pleasant experience I've ever had, but what surgery ever is. He saved my nose and I am healing nicely. I expect there will be a good outcome. I am grateful for his skill and his kind, considerate care of my needs.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Simon is incredibly kind and thorough. He takes his time in figuring out what is wrong and making sure I understand what he’s seeing. He’s also generally nice to chat with, not a lot of doctors take that time and it’s really appreciated

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
